Glory Achieved Through Extraordinary Effort: Instagrammer Ayachi’s Bright Future with Global Aspirations and the Struggles of Her Past
In September 2023, we announced our business partnership with Ayachi. In this interview, we dive deeper into her journey as an influencer and explore the aspects of her personality that aren’t visible on social media. Be sure to read through until the end!

Nexter PR:
Thank you for agreeing to this interview and for your partnership with us. In this article, we’d like to explore your journey to becoming an influencer and dig deeper into what makes you so charming.
Ayachi:
Thank you for having me!
Nexter PR:
Ayachi, you have such a cute appearance, but I’ve heard you’re quite competitive. Is that true? (laughs)
Ayachi:
Yes, that’s true! (laughs) Once I decide on something, I want to see it through. I think that attitude has played a big role in my success as an influencer.
Nexter PR:
That’s really interesting. By the way, what were you doing before becoming an influencer?

Ayachi:
I worked as a beauty advisor. During that time, I also did salon modeling, and when I posted photos on social media, they went viral. I started getting offers not just from local salons but also from those in Tokyo. I ended up doing around 3-4 shoots a day and realized that I only had about 2 days off a month. (laughs)
Nexter PR:
3-4 shoots a day? Only 2 days off a month? That’s incredibly intense.
Ayachi:
Yes, I was commuting from my hometown in Kanagawa to Tokyo, which took about 4 hours round-trip. I’d start shoots at 8 AM and sometimes finish around 10 or 11 PM. It was such a busy schedule, but the salon staff would post about me on Instagram, and my follower count kept growing. Instagram was the platform where I first went viral, so I still focus a lot on it.
Nexter PR:
That’s amazing! You now have 180,000 followers (as of the interview).
Ayachi:
Yes, but there were times when my Instagram growth plateaued. I personally set a goal to reach 100,000 followers in one year, but it actually took me about a year and a half to achieve that. I was so frustrated back then.
Nexter PR:
That’s still incredible though—reaching 100,000 followers in a year and a half! It’s not easy to do.
Ayachi:
Once I decide on something, I really want to see it through. There were many moments when I almost gave up. For example, when I decided to quit being a beauty advisor and focus on becoming an influencer, my parents opposed it, and others made fun of me. But I was determined to prove them wrong, thinking, “I’ll show them, I won’t lose!” That mindset helped me keep going, and I couldn’t have done it without the support of those around me and my followers. If I hadn’t had that support, I probably would have given up.

Nexter PR:
You really do have that competitive spirit! (laughs) You also seem to care a lot about your followers. When you post on Instagram, what do you focus on?
Ayachi:
I try to make posts that will energize my followers. For example, I add humor to my posts but make sure to be mindful of my language. I also pay attention to the colors and make sure the posts have a vibrant look, and I include fashion-related content as well.
Nexter PR:
You can really feel your personality through your posts. It’s clear that you care about your followers and think about how they’ll feel when they see your content.
Ayachi:
Thank you!
Nexter PR:
Are you able to take proper breaks these days? I imagine your followers must be curious about how you spend your days off. Do you still only have 2 days off a month? (laughs)
Ayachi:
I don’t really have traditional days off. I’m still working on things like taking photos for social media, modeling jobs, and managing my social media accounts. I’ve been working like this every day for about five years, so I don’t really have days off, but I’m having fun every day!

Nexter PR:
So, you actually have even fewer days off than before! (laughs) It sounds like social media has become a part of your daily life. Even without days off, how do you manage to refresh and recharge?
Ayachi:
I take relaxing half-baths with Epsom salts. I lost about 6 kilograms recently, and I used the half-bath routine to help with that. I really recommend Epsom salts! I also enjoy driving. I love to drive, and I even drove all the way to Osaka for a trip.
Nexter PR:
I’ve never tried Epsom salts before, but now I want to! And driving to Osaka sounds like quite a distance. You must really love driving!
Ayachi:
Yes, I love driving along the coast. I’ve driven to places like Enoshima and Yokohama. I even enjoy driving solo!

Nexter PR:
It sounds like even without traditional days off, you’ve found ways to relax and recharge. Is there anything you’re currently interested in or something you’d like to try in the future?
Ayachi:
Well, as someone living off social media, I’ve been really interested in “Xiaohongshu” (Little Red Book), which is popular in China and similar to Instagram.
Nexter PR:
So, you’re thinking about expanding internationally?
Ayachi:
Yes! I’m always up for new challenges, even if that means failing a few times along the way. I want to find the form that works best for me. Also, I once wanted to become an idol, but now it might be too late for that. However, I’d love to try something like working at a “concept cafe.” I’m also really passionate about beauty since I was a beauty advisor, so I’d like to pursue more opportunities related to beauty as well.
Nexter PR:
It sounds like you have a lot of interests! We’ll definitely be keeping an eye on your future activities. We’re excited to see you expand internationally!
Ayachi:
Thank you so much!
Nexter PR:
Thank you for your time today.
